Phantom pains: Sensations where your limb was, are called phantom pains and come in all varieties and are common. Massage therapy above the amputation site using both hands at the same time on both limbs at the same location (start at both upper thighs and rub towards knees) can help. There are several medications that can be added. Proper fit to your prosthesis is also important. Be well.
