Can an ingrowing toenail operation hurt a lot?

It should not: Everyone has a different level of sensitivity. It may also depend on the exact procedure done.

Ingrown nail: It does depend on the procedure , but even with a winograd type procedure my patients rarely take more than tylenol (acetaminophen) and rarely for more than a day. See your podiatrist and ask questions.
