Will my dental health suffer from breastfeeding?

I have heard stories: Just make sure you are adequately nourished before and during breastfeeding.Commonly patients say that the babies sucked their calcium out of their teeth. What really is happening is under stressful and malnourished conditions the protective nature of the saliva is diminished.

No: No as long as you continue brushing 3 times daily and flossing once a day, breast feeding will not affect your mouth.

No: Not in the least as long as you maintain your oral hygiene regimen -- brush, floss, and any other i.e. waterpik. Your hormones are different post-partum, but you should be just fine. Best of luck .
