Not yet: Although around the age of 6 months, the teeth start erupting, this varies and she is only 2 months late with the average age of tooth eruption. At the age of 1 year, she should start seeing a pedodontist for routine check-ups regardless. Congratulations and good luck. Don't worry: I've seen children get their first tooth as late as 15 months. While 6 months is an average, there can be great variation. As dr. Sandler said, see a pediatric dental specialist at age 1 or as soon as the first tooth erupts. Also bear in mind 1st orthodontic examination age 7. Lay in a supply of teaching rings, and enjoy very moment.Of your child's development.
