Neuroblastoma: Neuroblastoma is the most common solid tumor is very young children. Neuroblastoma is a heterogeneous disease in that in sometimes requires very little treatment, or it can require very intensive treatment. Treatment all depends on the extent of disease (staging) and the biological features of the disease. See: http://www.Cancer.Gov/cancertopics/pdq/treatment/neuroblastoma/patient/page1/allpages.
