A member asked:

Is it all right for my baby to get only 2 shots of hepb vaccine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Weakened response: If you want to take chances, there is some chance the baby would have protection in his/her lifetime from this germ. If not, complete the series. The long term benefits are best accomplished when the full series is given.Over a kids lifetime it can reduce the risk of not just the disease, but the chance of associated liver cancer or failure and transferring it to others.
