Get the Tdap: If you have not had it in the past year. You should also wash your hands before handling your son and put a clean blanket or cloth over your clothes when you hold him. It is hard to not transfer a cold to a baby when you are in such close contact. Breast feeding will also help reduce the illness in the baby if he catches it.
