Map of Human DNA: The Human Genome Project created a map of human DNA and was completed in 2003. Anonymous samples were donated by several people, but the majority of the "genome map" is from a single male donor from Buffalo, NY. The identity of this individual is not known by researchers who sequenced the DNA.
