A member asked:

I'm concerned because i have to have a ct scan how safe is the contrast dye?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very safe: Assuming you are not allergic to the dye and do not have kidney problems, the dye is safe. People with dye allergies often are allergic to shellfish, or have a history of asthma. They will question you before they give you the injection.
