Can't avoid cancer: You should live a healthy life, eat well, exercise, limit alcohol and avoid illicit drugs, risky sex, and any kind of tobacco. Be aware of those risk factors you can't change (like family history) and discuss it with your doc to get the age and risk-specific screening tests for you. Sadly, nobody can totally avoid cancer or illness in general so do your best to enjoy the gift of every day.
