A member asked:

I have astigmatism in one eye and floaters, are these related?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No : Astigmatism is refractive error in which the focusing power of your eye is not completely symmetrical. Floaters are condensations of proteins in the gel of your eye (the vitreous). The 2 are not related.
