Meeting of the minds: There's talk of st john's wort and inositol. I am glad you are looking for a remedy beyond what "just taking a pill" has to offer -- though this may itself be very helpful. A sound commitment to work hard with the right therapist can be of tremendous benefit -- what could be more natural than the full sharing of your mind with a wise and kind person, and gaining insight and power?

There are some: Some small studies have shown benefit with inositol http://tinyurl.com/bloujgx, but existing evidence doesn't support the use of st. John's wort in ocd. http://tinyurl.com/k2gx266 so it's tentative support for n-acetylcysteine, myo-inositol, glycine, and milk thistle (silybum marianum) -- with research in its infancy. I have personally used classical homeopathy with some success in this area.
