Limited options: I am going to assume that he is not mistreating you. You're his romantic partner, not his psychotherapist. If he's failing at work or socially, encourage him to get guidance -- his physician is the obvious source. However, people often resist change, and especially, it's not your job to try to change him or talk about what you think he's thinking. Be supportive but don't try to cure him.
