Fluoride toothpaste: Unlike oral Fluoride supplements where there are different dosage requirements depending upon the age of the individual ; the amount of Fluoride ingested in food ; water supplies, topical fluorides effect the surface of the tooth only ; do not know what the age of the individual is. It makes no difference. Young children should not ingest the toothpaste ; must be careful to spit it out. Read label.

Not usually...: It will usually have a lesser concentration... Toddler starter toothpastes don't even have fluoride, some actually have simethicone...
