Yes: A type of food allergy that is mediated by immune cells can cause colitis especially in children and presents with bloody stool, abdominal pain. A more severe life threatening variation of this type of food allergy is called fpies or food protein induced enterocolitis syndrome. It is more aggressive and also found in children. Of note, those conditions are diagnosed after excluding infections.
