A member asked:

I was diagnosed with e-coli bacteria. what are its complications?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not a disease: We all have e-coli bacteria. It is present in the environment including tap water. If e-coli stays in the colon, where it is normally present, there are no complications. If it invades other organs then it needs to be treated.
