Get into treatment: Please get yourself into treatment with an experienced psychotherapist. Long-term therapy is needed to recover from this illness. Dialectical behavioral therapy in particular is helpful for episodes of aggression, rage, and self-injury. These sessions are usually in addition to your work with your ongoing therapist. Some medications could be useful too, if you consult a psychiatrist.
