What to do if a friend has a gleason score of 5 prostate cancer. what does this mean?

Less aggressive: A score of less than 6 generally denotes a better prognosis. However prognosis depends on other factors also. See this site for more information on prostate cancer. http://www.webmd.com/prostate-cancer/features/prostate-biopsy-and-the-gleason-score.

Low-grade: These tend to be indolent and people live normal lives despite these tumors. I trust that this is the total grade and not just one of the patterns.
