Can become different: Stem cells have the potential to develop into a variety of cells found in our body. Most now use adult stem cells (usually from fat these days), these can become bone, cartilage, muscle, nerve, ligaments-tendons, etc in tissue culture. These cells are found throughout the body, wherever there are small blood vessels (microcapillaries) where most of these are stored, waiting to be called help heal.
