Got13small inactive demyelinations in the brain.neurologists said not ms-demyelinations disposed different.is pet scan enough to confirm or infirm ms?

Brain PET...: There are several tracers which can be used with pet. The most common is FDG (glucose). There is normally high glucose utilization in the brain making brain evaluation difficult. Brain pet can be helpful in assessing tumor grade, evaluating for dementia, and mapping seizure foci. Not sure what additional information it will provide in your case.

Will not help: Your lesions might be due to head injury smoking, hypertension, or migraine but could also be RIS, an early sign of MS. PET WON't dfferentiate but spinal tap or repeat MRI both brain and neck in 6 months might be considered
