Maybe normal: A quarter of women in early pregnancy have spotting. Often it doesn't mean a problem, it is due to the embryo implanting in the uterus or the placenta forming. Sometimes it means a possible threatened miscarriage. Check with your doctor and see if they want to do any blood tests or an ultrasound.
