Culture of Medicine: Many physicians will meet with patients to discuss lab results. Usually the patients know what tests have been ordered and are reassured when all things turn out fine and happy when a nurse relays this information. If this is not how you want to discuss your health care then you can make an appointment with the physician to go over your concerns.
