How come not a stone: Most discreet 6mm kidney calcifications are in fact kidney stones. Calcification will not pass if it's within kidney tissue. Can pass if in a calyx or renal pelvis, but this is upper limit of what can pass on it's own. Best to get advice from a urologist.
