Delsym (dextromethorphan): Is a 12 hour otc cough suppressant only. If you only have a cough, this one is a good choice. It even comes in grape or orange flavors for the discriminating palate. Don't forget to treat the cause of the cough, which is frequently post nasal drip. Use a humidifier when heat is on in house. Breathe in steamy showers through nose. Use saline nasal spray frequently to keep membranes moist!
