A member asked:

Can you have 2 axis 1 disorders and 1 axis 2 disorder?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: I think of the difference between axis i and ii this way: axis i is for primary mental health problems like major depression and add that can occur simultaneously, and axis ii is for personality issues like borderline personality where the diagnosis suggests usual life patterns of social interaction.
