Stevia is Natural: Very controversial questions today, --in general artificial sweeteners when used in moderation: are safe: aspartame, splenda, stevia, Truvia and now erythrotol. Best for cooking is Stevia, best in drinks is splenda. or SteviAspartame would be last on my list. For diabetics and overweight people most doctors find them acceptable. Just because you drink a diet beverage you cannot go have 3 cookies
