I need to know what is causing pain in my upper ribcage?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See your PCM: This can be complex maybe difficult you know if you sentences. Most likely this is due to costochondritis which is an inflammatory condition affecting the joints of your ribs. This could also be due to pleurisy or pain in your lungs from inflammation of the lining of your lungs. It may be related to organs and your abdomen such as your pancreas or gallbladder. Without further information it maybe due to something as severe as cancer.I would probably recommend you see your primary care manager for this.
