See counselor: I'm so sorry you are feeling alone with this issue of social anxiety! it's important to reach out to a counselor/therapist in your area for help. If they are the real deal, they will believe you, and they will care. Plan on seeing that person once a week until you have some strategies. Often, hypnotherapy can be very useful.
