Merriam Webster: Defines a lesion as 'an abnormal change in structure of an organ or part due to injury or disease; especially : one that is circumscribed and well defined'. So a lesion in the breast is basically an area which appears abnormal (not what is expected). It is a very general term. If you were told you had breast leisions would encourage you to ask for clarification. Take care.
