Start with good : Sleep hygiene. Retire ; rise same time each day. Keep bedroom dark ; cool ; use only for sex ; sleep. Turn off tv. No naps. Exercise regularly but not in late evening. No caffeine within 6 hrs of sleep. Keep dinner moderate sized ; finish at least 2 to 3 hrs before sleep. Can try warm milk, chamomile tea or melatonin along w light reading, warm bath or lavender scent. As your parents to see your.

Cause of sleep probl: If the sleep problem started since taking medication, seek an alternative from your prescriber. If it is long standing, try melatonin, avoid caffeine from early evening, wind down your activities early, discontinue TV and computer activities at least 1 hour before bed because the illumination from the screens can lower you brain melatonin level. Melatonin regulates your biological clock.
