GERD: Constant burning pain perhaps relieved by antacids might be acid reflux of gastroesophageal reflux disease. A gastroenterologist evaluation is in order. In a forties male coronary artery disease is always a concern and even acute heart attacks, but the questioner does not provide sex, acuteness, duration, constancy, or location.
