Build a mood history: Try to develop as factual and accurate and descriptive in objective terms: like days, amounts, frequencies in addition to adjectives like "bad". Chart new episodes as they happen in such detail. Report them and talk to a good psychotherapist about these symptoms and together you will come to a conclusion about being bipolar. Anything less is rumor and can lead to unnecessary medication, etc. Best!
