Absolutely!: Sterotypes like "dumb jock" and nonathletic "nerd" are or should be things of the past. Generally speaking, there is no reason why you can't do well in school and sports; you just have to put your mind (and body) to it!

Yes: The secret to performing well academically is the same as being a good athlete: working hard and doing your best. There are many examples of athletes who have been good students. If you need help with your classes, talk to your parents and teachers or school counselor. If you get discouraged, keep asking for help. Smart kids do well because they know how to study.
