Can be no symptom: Left elbow pain is an odd one i've seen. Isolated, painless, exertional shortness of breath (dyspnea) is a fairly common but atypical presentation. Pain lasting for hours is very unusual but i've seen it. Painless confusion in the very elderly is another odd presentation that sometimes happens. Strange presentations tend to occur in the very elderly-young people are more typical.
