More concerned with : The flu. Pink eye or conjunctivitis will improve without treatment. Drops are used to shorten the course of pink eye.

Flu is worse: Flu can be a misdiagnosis or can be dangerous if fever goes too high and can cause dehydration. Flu can affect other organs, hence why a flu shot is recommended. Pink eye is not dangerous and can often be left untreated. Just see an ophthalmologist to make sure it is actually pink eye and not something worse. Feel better and drink lots of fluids. Good luck.
