Slow reactions: Think of it this way, when your brain is running on empty, it diverts the little reserve that remains on the critical functions, like breathing, seeing its. Typing is not a critical function, so it is placed on the back burner. When you are tired, listen to your body and get some rest. Cumulative sleep deprivation can cause lack of focus, and adversely impact productivity among other things.

Like being drunk: Sleep deprivation causes a number of effects in your body. It is truly akin to being intoxicated with alcohol: you get slurred speech, you do tasks more slowly, you have difficulty concentrating, and driving is dangerous. In fact, driving while sleepy is as dangerous as driving while drunk. You should check out why you are so sleepy.

Fatigue: Sleep deprivation and fatigue cause an impairment in nerve transmission so that reflexes and voluntary muscle use are slower and less precise.
