Depends on: What the pain is from. If the pain is truly unbearable, go to er to diagnose the reason as severe pain in specific areas can be a very bad sign. Without more information, I am sorry i can not offer more advice. See a doctor as soon as possible.

Agree with Dr. Kent: If pain is severe - do recommend emergent evaluation. If you are unable to drive than you can call 911 for emergency services or some one you know drive you to an emergency room.

Severe pain...: ...whether acute, recurrent, chronic and regardless of location, ALWAYS warrants urgent evaluation so a cause can be identified and corrected.
