Is dequalinium chloride or benzocaine better for tonsillitis?

?: dequalinium chloride is an antiseptic, a rather local bacteriostatic, (stops bacterial growth), while benzocaine is a local analgesic, neither would work if there is a true bacterial streptococcal infection, an antibiotic is the standard treatment
