Discuss w/your doc: I'm sorry, but we really don't know enough about you to recommend one drug over another for you. The best person to talk about this with, would be your own psychiatrist who knows your full history. Most likely s/he has followed you on these medicines for awhile also? Differences: There is really only two basic types of stimulants: Dextroamphetamine and melhylphendate. Vyvance is an example of the former and Concerta of the later. Sometimes one is better for a particular person than the other for reasons that are not known. There are similar differences among people with the use of short-acting and long-acting stimulants. See your child psychiatrist.
