A member asked:

Please help! i have add and was put on concerta and ritalin (methylphenidate) but haven't taken them for almost 3 years. is that bad?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Only bad if the medication was working with no side effects. If your impulsivity was controlled, you were less easily distracted, and able to organize things better while on the meds, you may be making a mistake in staying off the drugs. Your choice.
