If you have an: Addiction to ritalin, (methylphenidate) tell the prescribing physician and get help asap. They will work with a therapist off a treatment program to wean you off Ritalin (methylphenidate) and find alternative nonaddictive medications or to develop alternative coping mechanisms. You may want to use aa meetings for support as well as therapy.
