Get treated: Pernicious anemia is easily treated with B12 2000 mcg daily. It is best to use the sublingual form. However if you are having severe symptoms. B12 (cyanocobalamine) shots may be the best initial treatment. See your doctor.

Vitamin B12: Generally treatment with B12 improves symptoms. You can take a pill 1000mcg orally daily. Ideally though you should get a shot of that dose daily for 5 days, then weekly for 4 weeks, then monthly.

EASY !: Once the diagnosis of pernicious anemia is made, treatment is easy, intramuscular b 12 injection. The difficulty lies in making the diagnosis. Who made the diagnosis? How and why did the anemia develop? Is it because of stomach surgery? Vegetarian ? Medication as metformin? Lack of intrinsic factor because of stomach surgery necessitates that the vitamin be injected !
