Clean house: While humans do not usually get "sick" from flea bites, tick bites can spread lyme and other disease, and large numbers can predispose to infection. Pick up loose items off floors (fleas hide), wash pet, and either "bug bomb" (use pet/family safe type) twice per instructions, or call an exterminator to eliminate. Good luck!
