Depo provera (medroxyprogesterone): Unfortunately, you just have to wait it out. After stopping depo provera (medroxyprogesterone) it takes an average of 4 to 10 months to get pregnant. It can take up to two years for your chances of getting pregnant to equal that of a woman who has not taken the depo provera (medroxyprogesterone) shot. DrG
