Bowel movements: Bowel movements in and of themselves are not diagnostic of an eating disorder or an anxiety disorder. Having said that however there is certainly an increased risk of irritable bowel syndrome among people with anxiety disorders. That can cause diarrhea, constipation, or alternating diarrhea and constipation. Frequency of bowel movements varies greatly from person to person. Some people have multiple bowel movements today and others have one every three days or so.You can google eating disorders and see the criteria listed and you will get some ideas as to whetheryou have a specific eating disorder. If you find that you do then find a therapist that specializes in eating disorders for treatment. Best wishes.

Lots of possibilties: There can be several causes for your increased boewl movement frequency. Anxiety alone can cause it, anti-anxiety medications can also cause increased bowel movements. It also depends on what other symptoms you have. Male sure there is no blood or mycus in stool- if so may need to consukt a gastroenterologist. Right now, i recommend you talk to doctor and check medications you are on.
