Abortions: It would have helped if your immunizations were up to date and if you had taken vitamins containg Folic Acid to prevent neural tube disorders.

Splna bifida: There are treatments such as Folic Acid being given before the pregnancy is started that can help reduce considerably the risk of spina bifida. The Folic Acid has to be started before conception by usually at least a month and carried out during the entire pregnancy.
