My head keeps pulsating when i lye down propping myself up a bit lessens it. what could this be?

High blood pressure : You note your head is pulsating when you lay down but gets better with slight elevation. It could be high blood pressure. It could also be aortic valve insufficiency. Make sure to get your rest. If you notice this continues then see your doctor. Even for 36 years of age it is important to see your doctor.

Postural headache: Due to chronic intracranial hypertension. Common symptoms are:they include spontaneous dim-outs of vision in one or both eyes, severe headache with a change in position; blurred vision; and double vision. Lowering intracranial pressure is key to treating intracranial hypertension. Headaches. The common medication is diamox (acetazolamide).
