Helo dr. i had 2 abortions due to rubella and spina bifida. what precautions and tests to be taken before planning next pregnancy to avoid defects.

Rubella can only...: ...Affect one pregnancy, and most spina bifida is preventable with preconception vitamin supplementation; but as for genetic causes of birth defects, you can only test for them in the embryo once the pregnancy is in progress.
