Surgery: That depends on how stuffy your nose is. If you have a head cold and you are having general anesthesia as you state , the surgery will probably be postponed. Depending on where the ganglion is your surgeon may elect to go twilight sleep and local anesthesia. But the ultimate call will be by the anesthesiologist.

Probably not: General anesthetics, in most cases, require a tube to be put into the trachea. The presence of an upper respiratory infection can cause needless complications. Your better off waiting until its over. If you are in doubt call the hospital's nurse coordinator for advice or ask to speak to an anesthesiologist.

Depends: In adults mild respiratory illness rarely causes problems with anesthesia. If there are no fever or general sickness you probably can proceed. Final evaluation and decision is up to your anesthesiologist. If you can talk to your surgical office.

General???: Are you sure? It may be performed under "twilight" sleep anesthesia with local anesthetic supplementation. You may snore, but it shouldn't be much of a problem. The anesthesiologist will have the final call.
