No: Donating blood cannot cause any type of serious chest pain in someone who is not anemic. Only 450 cc of whole blood is donated at one time, less than 10% of ones blood volume. Donating blood too often might deplete someone's blood supply sufficient to cause cardiovascular type chest pain, but that is usually prohibited. It is not advisable to donate blood more than every 3 months.
